Arous El Bahr Seafood Restaurant

Arous El Bahr Seafood Restaurant is one of the most famous and beloved traditional seafood dining spots in Alexandria, with prominent branches located in vibrant areas like Bahari (near the Morsi Abu Al-Abbas Mosque square), Abu Qir, and El Agamy. The restaurant features a lively and authentic Alexandrian ambiance that reflects the true coastal culture and flavors of the Mediterranean. The dining experience centers around a "mini fish market" concept, where guests personally select their fresh catch of the day from chilled display counters featuring a wide variety of local fish like Tilapia, Mullet, Sea Bream, and Sea Bass, alongside shrimp, crabs, and fresh calamari, to be immediately cooked to their preference (whether charcoal-grilled with bran, grilled with oil and lemon, crispy fried, or in the signature Singari style). Visitors highly praise their rich seafood clay pots in white or red sauce, traditional Sayadiya rice cooked to perfection, and their flavorful seafood soup, complemented by classic Alexandrian appetizers like Baba Ghanoush, marinated tomatoes, and eggplant with salsa. While some branches can get heavily crowded during weekends and summer seasons, the exceptional freshness of the ingredients, fast service, and highly affordable prices compared to luxury tourist spots make it a perfect and trusted choice for seafood enthusiasts visiting Alexandria.
